Privacy Policy

Axis Terminal is operated by More Technology Labs Inc., a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada. We are the organization accountable for the personal information described here.

Axis Terminal is offered only to residents of Canada and the United States.

Account information. Your email address, any profile picture you upload, and — if you sign in with Google — your display name and profile picture. If you sign up with a password we store only a hashed version; we never see your password. We also store your theme and search preferences and your current plan.

Subscription information. If you subscribe, we store your Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, price ID, plan status and billing period dates. We never see or store your card number. Card details go directly to Stripe.

Content you create. Your screens, panel layouts and settings, and watchlists.

Connecting an AI assistant. If you connect an outside AI tool to Axis Terminal, we store the connection and the credential that authorises it, and a record of the requests it makes. What that tool fetches on your behalf — market data, and your own watchlists and screens — is sent to the company that provides it and is handled under their privacy policy, not ours. You can end that access at any time in your settings.

How you found us. When you arrive we note UTM tags from the URL if present, otherwise the referring website, otherwise “direct” — along with the page you landed on. This is kept only while the page is open, never in a cookie or your browser’s storage, and is attached to your profile if you create an account during that visit. We use it only to understand which channels bring people to Axis Terminal.

How you use Axis Terminal. We use PostHog, a product analytics provider, to understand how Axis Terminal is used and to improve it. This includes information such as the pages you visit, the features you use, your device and approximate location, and may include recordings of your sessions with anything you type into forms hidden. When you are signed in, it is linked to your account. None of it is stored in a cookie or your browser’s storage.

Support messages. If you use the support form, we receive your email address, the category you chose, your message and any files you attach.

Technical information. Your IP address is used transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We record which tickers your open screens are watching so our background jobs know which quotes to refresh.

Error reports. When something breaks, we send a report to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider: the page you were on, your browser and operating system, and the steps that led up to the error. We do not attach your account identity or IP address to these reports.

Information about other people. Some panels show public-record information about named individuals — insider trades and executive pay from securities filings, trades disclosed by members of the US Congress, and the analysts and firms behind published ratings. It comes from regulators and our data providers, is shown as filed, and is never combined with anything we hold about our own users.

We do not collect financial account information, brokerage credentials, holdings or trades. Axis Terminal does not connect to your brokerage.

We use two kinds, both needed for something you asked us to do:

• Essential — Supabase authentication cookies that keep you signed in. The service does not work without them.
• Plan intent — if you pick a paid plan before you have an account, a cookie named axis_plan_intent remembers your choice for one hour so we can take you to checkout after you sign up.

We also keep a few conveniences in your browser’s local storage — the symbols you searched recently and a cached copy of the quotes shown on our home page. These never leave your device.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites through Axis Terminal.

Our analytics, described above, set no cookies and store nothing in your browser.

• To create and operate your account
• To deliver the features of your plan and enforce plan limits
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To respond to your support requests
• To keep the service secure — rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging
• To understand which marketing channels work
• To understand how the product is used, and improve it
• To send you service-related messages, such as password resets, email confirmation and notice of material changes to our terms or prices

We rely on your consent, given when you create an account and use the service. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account, though that means we can no longer provide the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We use these service providers, each of which processes some personal information on our behalf:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets — in which case we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

Our infrastructure is provided by companies based primarily in the United States, so your information is stored and processed there and may be accessible to US authorities under US law. By using Axis Terminal you consent to this transfer.

We require our providers to protect your information to a standard comparable to what we apply ourselves.

• Account data — as long as your account is open
• Deleted accounts — deleting your account removes your profile, screens, panels and watchlists. Some records may persist briefly in encrypted backups before rotating out.
• Billing records — retained as long as required by tax and accounting law, typically six years
• Support messages — kept in our email records
• Plan-intent cookie — one hour
• Error reports — 90 days at Sentry
• Usage analytics and session recordings — up to one year at PostHog
• Cached market data — not personal to you; expires on its own, from minutes to a few weeks depending on how often the source changes

Access to your data is enforced at the database level, so one account cannot read another’s. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment card data never touches our servers.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.

You may:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct anything inaccurate — most of it is editable in your settings
• Delete your account and its data, from Settings
• Withdraw consent by deleting your account
• Ask questions about how we handle your information, and complain to us first

Email legal@axisterminal.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). If you are a US resident, you may have additional rights under your state’s law — contact us and we will honour them regardless of whether we are strictly required to.

Axis Terminal is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in the product before it takes effect. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
