AxisTerminal

Privacy Policy

Effective August 8, 2026 · Operated by More Technology Labs Inc.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Who we are

Axis Terminal is operated by More Technology Labs Inc., a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada. We are the organization accountable for the personal information described here.

Our Privacy Officer can be reached at legal@axisterminal.com.

Axis Terminal is offered only to residents of Canada and the United States.

2. What we collect

Account information. Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your display name and profile picture. If you sign up with a password we store only a hashed version; we never see your password. We also store your theme preference and current plan.

Subscription information. If you subscribe, we store your Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, price ID, plan status and billing period dates. We never see or store your card number. Card details go directly to Stripe.

Content you create. Your dashboards, widget layouts and settings, and watchlists.

How you found us. On your first visit we record UTM tags from the URL if present, otherwise the referring website, otherwise “direct” — along with the page you landed on. This is stored in a cookie named axis_attr for 90 days and attached to your profile if you create an account. We use it only to understand which channels bring people to Axis Terminal.

Support messages. If you use the support form, we receive your email address, the category you chose, your message and any files you attach.

Technical information. Your IP address is used transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We record which tickers your open dashboards are watching so our background jobs know which quotes to refresh.

We do not collect financial account information, brokerage credentials, holdings or trades. Axis Terminal does not connect to your brokerage.

3. Cookies

We use two kinds:

  • Essential — Supabase authentication cookies that keep you signed in. The service does not work without them.
  • Attribution — the axis_attr cookie described above, set for 90 days.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites through Axis Terminal.

As of the effective date above we run no third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy.

4. How we use your information

  • To create and operate your account
  • To deliver the features of your plan and enforce plan limits
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To respond to your support requests
  • To keep the service secure — rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging
  • To understand which marketing channels work
  • To send you service-related messages, such as password resets, email confirmation and notice of material changes to our terms or prices

We rely on your consent, given when you create an account and use the service. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account, though that means we can no longer provide the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

5. Who we share it with

We use these service providers, each of which processes some personal information on our behalf:

ProviderPurpose
SupabaseDatabase and authentication
VercelApplication hosting
UpstashCaching and rate limiting
StripePayment and subscription processing
ResendTransactional and support email
GoogleSign-in with Google, if you use it
EODHD, FinnhubMarket data — they receive ticker requests, not your identity

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets — in which case we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

6. Where your information is stored

Our infrastructure is provided by companies based primarily in the United States, so your information is stored and processed there and may be accessible to US authorities under US law. By using Axis Terminal you consent to this transfer.

We require our providers to protect your information to a standard comparable to what we apply ourselves.

7. How long we keep it

  • Account data — as long as your account is open
  • Deleted accounts — deleting your account removes your profile, dashboards, widgets and watchlists. Some records may persist briefly in encrypted backups before rotating out.
  • Billing records — retained as long as required by tax and accounting law, typically six years
  • Support messages — kept in our email records
  • Attribution cookie — 90 days, or until you clear it
  • Cached market data — not personal to you; expires on its own within 24 hours

8. Security

Access to your data is enforced at the database level, so one account cannot read another’s. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment card data never touches our servers.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.

9. Your rights

You may:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything inaccurate — most of it is editable in your settings
  • Delete your account and its data, from Settings
  • Withdraw consent by deleting your account
  • Ask questions about how we handle your information, and complain to us first

Email legal@axisterminal.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). If you are a US resident, you may have additional rights under your state’s law — contact us and we will honour them regardless of whether we are strictly required to.

10. Children

Axis Terminal is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in the product before it takes effect. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
